The corn crop in Polk County shows material improvement over the last ten days though still not at normal growth. Warm weather spurred cultivation and field clearing while re-sealing for storage and the government loan price of 1.35 per bushel influence whether to sell now or hold. Other crops reflect varying progress with undetermined wheat value and patchy oats.
