Eight oat varieties including Brunker Fulghum In gold Kanata Burt 518 Nebraska 21 Winter Oats and Placed in the test by Wal ford E Nelson will be grown at the Lloyd Breadway farm near Osceola. Woman killed by Union Pacific train near Silver Creek
Mrs. F. L. Harris 52 died instantly when struck by a westbound Union Pacific streamline at a crossing about a block from her home in Silver Creek early Monday. Co Atty Paul R. Morris said she wandered in front of the train during a lapse of memory. The body was knocked 150 feet. the train did not pass over her. Mrs. Harris, wife of a Methodist minister, had recently spent months in a Lincoln hospital and came to Silver Creek from Peru last September with her family. Survived by her husband and seven children, four at home.
