Mr. and Mrs. Donald Turk and baby of Denver visit the Swede Home area with Mr. and Mrs. Petrus Nelson for a Friday evening event.
Social notices recount a birthday celebration for Petrus Nelson at the Victor Krol residence. Guests included Miss Carola Johnson of Lincoln, Mrs. Mabel Olson, and other local families. Several visits and dinners with friends and relatives are noted, including Harold W. Johnson and Edith Larson households.
Sunday dinner guests included Mr and Mrs John Johnson at Adolph Forss home. The Forss and Johnson couples spent Sunday evening with Mr and Mrs Ray Johnson.
The Valley Livestock Club gathered Tuesday evening June 5 at Rex Dake’s home with all members present. The leader showed moving pictures on judging animals. Mrs Carmen and Mrs Will Dake served lunch to 21 children and 11 adults. On Thursday June 7 Ronald Carlson and Guildford Bryan took members to York for district judging day. The group looks forward to county Demonstration Day at Osceola fairgrounds June 22.

Mrs Leonard Wieseman thanks friends and relatives for letters cards and flowers and the Good Will Club for cards and gifts during her misfortune of a broken foot. They were greatly appreciated.
