Lions Club met Monday at noon with Jack Conrad presiding. Lee Brown attended as guest as plans were laid for a booth at the August 17 19 Polk County Fair, placement of a historical plaque, city street signs, a city Lions joint project, and flower boxes for the square. A Nebraskan tour left Lincoln June 10 for Montreal World's Fair with escorts Dwight Burney and wife and Governor Tiemann presenting honorary citizenship certificates.
