George M Moore died at his home in the city after a long illness. Born October 14 1852 at Malta Ohio he moved to Wisconsin then Nebraska in 1876 where he farmed for over thirty five years. He married Ellen Wiard in 1879 and leaves four sons a daughter the widow and siblings. Funeral services will be held at the M E church conducted by Rev E M Reed.
Walter Chauner, last night from Bozeman Montana, where he has been instructor physical culture for two years and elected for the coming year, plans to stay until August first before returning. Mrs Georeta Watson, in the city for a few weeks caring for Mr and Mrs Rhodes, returned to Omaha. Mrs Stanley Van Hoosen, Rhodes daughter, came from Omaha to assist in care.
Miss Martha Herrmann travels to Lincoln to see her brother Rev Matthew Herrmann and attend Lincoln High School commencement. She plans a brief stay in Oakland before returning home.
Emma Falter, former Osceola teacher, married Prof. C W Smith of the state agricultural school at Lincoln. The ceremony took place Tuesday June 8 at the Falter home in Plattsmouth, with Rev J H Steger officiating.
