Samuelson Family Holds Annual Picnic at Buckley Park
The John Samuelson family reunion drew 105 relatives and friends at Buckley Park on Sunday, July 1. Attendees included numerous Samuelson in laws and friends from across Nebraska Colorado and nearby states, gathering for a day of fellowship and shared memories.
Local Residents Attend University Session and Visit
Kathy Jo Thayer and Cindy Nahrstedt returned home after attending the early summer session at the University of Nebraska. Brenda, Melinda and Kevin Peterson spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Morris Richards. Sunday dinner guests included Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gustafson of Lincoln, with Melinda’s 11th birthday celebration hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Peterson, Doug and Steve. Mrs. A J Manthey, recently from a Middle East tour, visited Laura Delfs then Wilber relatives. Laura escorted Manthey to Wilber on Friday.

4-H Club Notes and Fair Preparations
Purple Ribbon Strivers 4-H held two meetings on June 28 and July 2 at the homes of Jim Rosenquist and Gary Hullinger to discuss the club sign and fair booth.
