Alice Roosevelt At Kiel Meets Kaiser And Prince Henry

Alice Roosevelt Longworth sent a cablegram to the Kaiser thanking him for a bracelet and portrait. A London paper criticized her for not framing the despatch in servility. She spoke with many leaders, enjoyed meetings with the Kaiser the most, and broke champagne on his yacht bow receiving a costly bauble. She has heard her father compared with the Kaiser since he became president.
