Osceola emerged as champions of the Goldenrod conference tournament at Palmer, defeating Stromsburg 72-49 in the final. Alan Gissler scored 32 points, with Larry Richard adding 16 and Don Augustin 13 for the Bulldogs. Stromsburg's Greg Wilhelms led with 26.
