Polk County Commissioners Meet in Osceola 1907
County records show the Polk County Board adjourned to January 11 1907 at Osceola with all members present. They adopted a resolution on railroad bonds following a special election held December 22 1906 and certified votes by precincts Canada Osceola Platte and Pleasant Home. They also approved road establishment petitions for an Osceola area public road and a Union Pacific switch area road. County health officers and a county physician were named for 1907 along with a soldiers relief commission.
