Polk County 1945 budget and proper county appointments adopted
The Polk County Nebraska board on January 9 1945 accepted the resignation of Gust Monson and appointed J S Harless as commissioner and Owen McClung as chairman. They set 1945 wage scales for county staff and approved a budget with a December 1944 hearing. The session also designated newspapers for notices and enumerated salaries for county officers. A follow up session on January 10 1945 listed February 1945 jury lists and grand jury lists from multiple precincts.
