A four camp joint installation and banquet united David City Osceola Polk and Shelby counties. Mrs L S Hastings led an instruction program and Mrs M J Ryan of Osceola was named oracle with a full roster of officers. A county convention for instruction will meet in May at David City and October at Osceola.
Mrs. Ralph H. Wenker daughter of Mr and Mrs J J Watkins of Osceola died January 6 at her home in Merino Colorado from acute Brights disease. She was born June 26 1888 at Beacorsfield Iowa wed Sept 6 1908 to Ralph H Wenker. The family moved from Polk County to Colorado five years ago. Funeral services were held Friday at the M E church Osceola with Rev E M Reed officiating. Burial was in Osceola cemetery. She leaves husband and parents four brothers Lester Watkins Central City Neb and Herbert and Walter of Merino and Ora of Polk County and two sisters Mrs J B Ladd of Merino and Mrs L R Detrick of Arlington.
Lutheran church advertises Sunday School and Bible classes next Sunday at 10 am with divine services at 11 am and 7 30 pm both in Swedish language. An animal business meeting is held in the church next Thursday at 7 o clock all members requested to be present.

Shires returned from Illinois with Nora Irwin. P H Bell of Silver Creek State Bank resumed duties January 1 after illness. Malice at the closing scene at Clarks last Saturday officiated by Rev J P Anderson. bride daughter of Mr and Mrs Jank Burp formerly of Silver Creek, January 8 1916.
