Harbors Birds That Eat Insects and Benefit Farming
An Iowa article argues for more tree belts to provide nesting sites for birds that eat insects. More trees mean more birds, which reduce grasshoppers, grub worms, caterpillars, and other pests, aiding biological balance and enhancing hunting and scenery.
