County Clerk Changeovers and Fatal Accident Near Osceola
E L Hallquist moved his household goods to Stromaberg and plans to make it home after two years in Osceola as Deputy County Clerk. Charlie Grosvenor will fill the deputy post for two years after moving from Stromaburg. Ole Christenneon, long-time Osceola area resident now in the county's west, was killed Monday morning when his wagon was struck by a train near Clarks after his horses bolted past a dog.

Man Cribill Dies Suddenly at Home After Illness
S W Crabill died yesterday at 12 30 pm at his son's residence in the south part of town. He had not been well for days but felt better in the forenoon and attempted to dress when he collapsed. Dr Shaw attended but pronounced him dead before arrival. Funeral services to be held at 2 o clock at the M E Church with Rev Buade preaching and the G A R in charge. record to publish the obituary next week.
