Elementary School Needs More Room and Expansion Planned
Osceola board study dated October 24, 1961 recommends a two room addition to the elementary building to handle kindergarten through sixth grade enrollment. The plan, drawn by architects Davis and Wilson, fits with building expansion designed for heat supply and no structural issues. The addition would add two 28 by 37 foot rooms south of current grade rooms, creating space for a fifth and a sixth grade class. The report notes prior survey recommendations mostly implemented and cites the survey committee including Merle A. Stoneman and Dwyane E. Gardner.
