Local Osceola items report ground hog day notes and upcoming G A R meeting. Community events include baptisms at M E church, visits by Rev W R Adams and Rev L F Smith, and local socials at the Merry Workers and Relief Society.
Regular Masons meeting announced. Various locals and visitors listed from Benedict Stromsburg Shelby and Butler county. Temporary illness notes, influenza recovery, and travel between Osceola and nearby towns are recorded along with community business and a lard shipment event.

Kunke's drug store offers hundreds of sheet music titles at 10 cents each. A free lecture series by Rev. C. E. Kriege of Onida will visit the German M E church and nearby towns February 9 and 10. Rev. F. Reichardt will lecture March 4 and 7. Everyone is invited.
State speakers will lecture on agricultural and dairy topics at the Osceola court house Saturday February 5 at 2 pm. Arrangements will be made for a larger institute near the end of February. All are invited to help build up this school for the farmers.
