Detroit December 27 Chevrolet Motor Co announces a complete new line of motor cars to be introduced January 1. Production began December 12 with shipments to dealers starting December 15 to support a nationwide debut next Sunday. The company promises many design and construction improvements, new beauty standards, and smoother riding.
A crowded Wesley Chapel church enjoyed a splendid Christmas Eve program and tree. Families and relatives gathered across Shelby Osceola and nearby farms for dinners parties and caroling. Several local residents including the Schmoker Brighams and Weeden-Peterson nuptials tied the season together with visits to grandparents and friends.
A large crowd attended the Dist 13 program on Thursday evening featuring Miss Lenore VanHoosen and pupils with Santa Claus delivering gifts. Many local families and relatives visited in Columbus and nearby towns during Christmas week amid favorable weather and road conditions.
The B U G Club held its annual Christmas Party at Mrs. J A Westenius home with her long running role as host. Local and visiting residents and several area families joined in holiday gatherings and events.

A stream of holiday hospitality is noted with the Carter relatives a W B Carter home Christmas Day. Gertrude Olderoy spends holidays with Omaha parents. Families of Kuhn Record and Bond relatives attend Christmas gatherings in Stromsburg and Gresham. A mass farmers meeting is planned December 31 at 2 PM above the Farmers Union Store in Osceola to discuss hog buying practices.

Weekly prayer meetings, and Tuesday 11 AM annual congregational meeting with equal voting rights for all members. Ladies Ass meets Thursday Jan 5 at 2 PM with Mrs Claus Anderson.
