Prominent inventor passes grain shocker breakthrough
Yesterday Osceola records note Paul C. Timm received a patent for a grain shocking device. He toured Washington with blueprints showing a binder shocker that, when kicked, yields a ground shock diagrammed by the machine. Royal Neighbors elected officers and Mrs. Herman Schroeder is mourned in a southeast Osceola funeral.

Charles W Allen Named by Nebraska State Historical Society
The Nebraska State Historical Society voted in January 1935 to honor Charles W. Allen of South Dakota. Friends hear that Donald Kunkel is listed as missing in action. An obituary-like tribute recalls Allen as a frontier figure, trader, editor, and pioneer linked to the Sioux.
