Polk County approves 1965 bank depositories and fund deposits
Polk County Nebraska Board of County Commissioners met December 15 1964 and audited claims. They adopted a resolution allowing deposits up to 100 percent of bank paid in capital with bonds or approved securities and listed depositories Citizens State Bank Polk First National Bank Stromsburg First National Bank Omaha and First National Bank Shelby with specific deposit limits. They also transferred 19416 dollars inFederal Aid Secondary Highway Funds to Merrick County due to expiring funds.
