Following the death of Mr. R. Gold a Central Nebraska business announces immediate closure and a liquidation sale. All stock is offered at deep discounts to convert inventory into cash and settle the estate.
An old time storefront advertises sweeping cuts on mens suits boys clothing and ladies wraps. It promises new low prices across shoes hats underwear and dress goods with dozens of styles and early bargains to attract customers.
The Dry Goods line at the Slaughter store promises the biggest values for the money, noting prices cannot be shown in this space and inviting customers to visit the shop to see the merchandise.
Passenger and freight trains listed for eastbound service starting at 8:12 am and 7:02 pm, with westbound trains also indicated. The fragment notes train movements but provides no further details on routes, dates, or destinations.
