Mrs. Eva Kresha of Holdrege former Osceola resident was guest of honor Sunday at a birthday dinner hosted by All Saints Church Altar Society. Attendees included Father John Howe and numerous Kresha relatives from Osceola Columbus Humphrey Kimball Curtis Brighton and Imperial among others. Karleen Lukassen also noted with Rolland Ekstrom hosting coffee guests earlier in the week.

Corn at 25 percent moisture can be stored with ventilation
Extension expert notes corn at 25 to 26 percent moisture will hold 17 days at 50°F or 42 days at 35°F with proper aeration. Keep grain cold and ventilated about 0.75 CFM per bushel. check weekly for heat and recool as needed. Refrigeration works but requires aeration. drying advised next spring.
