Polk County farmer Swan Larson was found not guilty of arson in Hamilton County. The trial in Aurora Monday, with attorney Wilber M Johnston, ended when Judge Slustings directed a verdict of acquittal, clearing Larson of the charges tied to a farm house fire co owned with John MonEon of Polk County. MonEon's trial will be held later.

Stromsburg Celebrates Swan Andersons Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary
In Stromsburg on December 21 Mr and Mrs Swan Anderson marked their 50th wedding anniversary. Married December 21 1882 in Moline Illinois they moved to Stromsburg in 1886 and have since resided there. Death Summons William F. Koehler After Long Life of Service
William Frederick Koehler born July 1 1842 in Rettgensted Prussia died December 12 1932 at age 90 years 5 months 11 days. Immigrated to America at age 10, lived in Wisconsin and LaSalle County Illinois, joined Evangelical and later Methodist churches. He married Anna Seefus in 1868, moved to Papillion Nebraska in 1878, then Polk County in 1900 where he resided until his death. Survived by one sister nine children thirty nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral December 14 1932 at the Osceola Methodist Church with interment in Osceola cemetery.

Death of John Horst in Salt Lake City Nebr ties
John Horst aged 83 died at his Salt Lake City home. He traveled from Green Bay Wisconsin to Nebraska living at Silver Creek and Madison before moving to Utah twenty years ago. Funeral services were held in Madison with burial in Madison Cemetery. A brother Mike Horst resides in the city.
