The Daughters of the Nile hosted a dinner at Ryan Country Club with Mrs. Raymond Beebe in charge. The Cotton Birthday Club met at the A and B in Shelby for dinner cards and a grab bag exchange led by president Mrs. Art Scholz. Carlson family held a pre Christmas dinner at Mrs Mauritz Swanson’s home with relatives and guests from Oakland Scribner Omaha and Lincoln. Odd Fellows and Rebekahs held a potluck and gift exchange at the Lodge Hall with cards as entertainment.
