The rlolliewell Company of Musical Artists presents a program featuring a baritone soloist and a notable musical ensemble. With recommendations from Omaha, Grand Island, Columbus and other cities, they invite the public to hear them. Prices range from 25 to 85 cents. Curtain at 8 p.m.
Daniel Jarmin died at his home Sunday morning December 6 at 11 20, age 94 years 6 months 11 days. He had been in fair health until November 14 and after Thanksgiving he declined, passing away peacefully with his four sons beside him. Funeral services are set for Tuesday at 10 am at the M B church conducted by Rev Reed. Obituary to follow in Thursday's Record.

Léonard Reitz hunted in Deoter woods hoping for a squirrel meal. He baited a tree hole with corn and waited until the afternoon. When he felled the tree at last only an owl lay in the hole, not the hoped for game.
Mrs. L. A. Mickey died at her daughter Mrs. Burrell Fox home in Thayer Sunday morning after a week with Brights disease. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 PM from the M E church in Shelby conducted by Rev. M. R. Crisp.
The Polk county corn show drew a large audience with bigger, better exhibits than prior years. County superintendent Miss Rasmussen spearheaded the effort, and University judge Miss Ort noted Polk County’s display far surpassed others she has seen this year. Music by Maurine Walrath Geralyn Walrath and Marie Mickey delighted attendees.
The Annual December meeting of the Polk County Agricultural Association will be held at the Court House in Osceola on Wednesday December 8 1915 at 2 p m. F H Ball Secretary A F Johnson President.
