Off Campus Art Courses Planned in Osceola
Two off campus art courses are planned for Osceola this fall contingent on interest. The Art 21 Public School Art course, taught by Don Hazelrigg, meets September 20 at 7 pm at the Polk County Courthouse for three credit hours. A second non credit art course will organize September 21 at 7 pm at the courthouse for individuals seeking to improve personal art skills.

50th Wedding Anniversary for Esau Couple in Osceola
The Boy Scout cabin in Osceola Park hosted the August 27 reception for Mr. and Mrs. Charles Esau marking their 50th wedding anniversary. About 75 guests attended from Dist. 48 and nearby, with gifts including a money tree. The couple married August 21, 1911, in Albion Nebraska and have four children, 16 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Out of town guests came from Ohio, Grand Island, Phillips Nebraska, Central City, and Azusa California.
