District 54 residents and relatives from Karan Beverly and Jami returned from a ten day Arizona New Mexico and Colorado vacation. They toured Grand Canyon visited relatives in Kansas and Colorado and hosted and visited numerous friends in McHenry County and nearby towns. Local hosts include Wyman Tooker Imhoff Stanczyk and Gembica families with many social gatherings and church events.

Adolph Jeinsen visited from Germany with the Ted Wyman family. Tim Wyman corrects his job title as a veterinary technician in Greeley Colorado.

Mr and Mrs Harold Osentow ski become new residents on the Ridge in a mobile home. They are the parents of Mrs Wayne Stallings of Shelby. Capt and Mrs Gary Cole and sons Mark and Gregory of Chelmsford Massachusetts left for Lexington Nebraska after visiting relatives here and in Shelby. The Ray Cale family of Minneapolis visited. Weekend guests at the Warren Crisman home were Mrs Crisman's brother and sister Mr and Mrs Harvey Prather and Harvey Jr of Milton Florida and Mrs Ruth Denning of Bothell Washington. Also visiting was Robert Stark of Lincoln. Mr and Mrs Larry Larson and family returned from Cheyenne Wyoming after visiting the Don Larson family.
