New Osceola Record owner to take over in September

The Osceola Record will be owned by Alton Wilhelms and his wife with Nancy Norton as editor. Norton, a journalism grad, brings fresh ideas while Harold Thayer and Doris Grossnicklaus stay. The Howe family may soon acquire a larger paper in another town. Congress and the postmaster general spar over postal service cuts and reforms, arguing changes will raise costs and shrink services.
