Prof J A Jimerson and family finished a two week Montana trip. Rev A W Lyons left for Chicago to gain a degree and be away six weeks. Boy Scouts returned from Camp Sheldon in Columbus after ten days. The Green family left for Kansas City after two weeks here. Swanson and Arnold attended the Cheyenne roundup. Lunners and Westenius plan a Minneapolis trip and Wisconsin visit. Headstroms from Des Moines will stay two weeks. Howard Haverland and baby visited relatives. The Burke family held a reunion at Buckley Park honoring Howard Haverland and Dewitt Weber of Omaha.

Osceola Chautauqua opens six day program

The Osceola Chautauqua opened Tuesday afternoon for a six day engagement. The event is considered one of the finest in Osceola with high quality programs. Ticket sales lag, creating a deficit for the local committee. Bamford serves as platform master, his second time in Osceola since 1920 when W J Bryan headlined. Roy Collender joins the tent crew with the southern circuit.
