Mr and Mrs Oscar Boden depart for a Canada vacation. Carleton Anderson takes a short break from duties as County Treasurer. Osceola O E S chapter to hold regular monthly meeting next Tuesday August 9 at 800 PM. Grim alfalfa seed for sale at Gambles.
Mr. and Mrs. Orville Jacks of Fairmont and Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Bode of Friend were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Drier. Rev. John Herrmann traveled to Lincoln for medical care. Visitors to the Fintel and Jones households included the Anderson, Pherson, Simpson, Nelson, and Utica families. Adolph Soderberg and Sonja of Maine were weekend guests of John S. Anderson as they returned from a three month tour of southern and west coast states. Mrs. Soderberg is Anderson’s cousin.

Osceola and surrounding towns see visitors from Lincoln Omaha and Lincoln while families celebrate birthdays attend picnics and host gatherings. Trips include Crouse-Tex Drug Co. sales notes and grass sprays. Local clubs plan Aug 18 Maple Leaf Club and Wesley Chapel Club meetings with speakers.
Mr and Mrs Calmer Dunn moved into a new frame home located a block west of the lumber yard. Mr and Mrs Ira Irland departed Saturday for Los Angeles after a long summer stay here. Mr and Mrs DeLoss Buchholz entertained several families including Mr and Mrs Carl Lundborg and Mr and Mrs Roswill Johnson from Stromsburg and Mr and Mrs Oscar Johnson to honor Mrs Lundborgs birthday anniversary.
