Encampment Departure of Company H and Second Regiment
Company H with three officers and twenty nine men left for the army maneuver field at Pole Mountain Wyoming on Monday. Ten men from Company M of the second regiment join to bring total strength to forty one. The First Regiment is the only one from western Nebraska in the encampment due to funding limits. Many H men were excused and second regiment men substituted to avoid hardship, with all regimental companies similarly filled. The company will be gone ten days returning Wednesday August 7.

Mrs Edwin Anderson Dies After Typhoid in Montana
Mrs. Edwin Anderson died last Tuesday at her home near Concord Montana. Her body was brought back to Stromsburg for funeral services at the First Baptist church. She and Edwin Anderson, married March 30 1909, had lived in Stromsburg and later moved to a Montana homestead where illness of typhoid fever ended her life. She leaves her husband a father two sisters and a brother with many friends in Stromsburg and near Concord.
