Mr and Mrs Dale Taylor and family of Palmer visited Mr and Mrs Kenneth Richards on Friday. Last Thursday two On The Farm Training class es held a card party at the IOOF Hall with 12 couples attending. High pitch scores went to Brooke Berggren and Mrs Mervin Rystrom.
Edwin and Edith Gustafson and Steve Georgeau visited Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Pickett. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Anderson and sons and Mrs. Mary Cerny and Elsie stayed with Mr. and Mrs. George Hruska in Omaha. Andersons also attended the Ice Capades.
Polk County Nebraska regular session approves numerous claims across funds including County General Fund Emergency Relief Fund and Road funds. Actions include tax adjustments for deceased or uncollectible accounts, approval of a motor grader rental with Lincoln Equipment Co and a culvert irrigation agreement with R C and Myrtle Werner. An adjournment followed with next meeting set for April 17, 1951.
