Stirling Moss, famed English driver, will attend the Canadian Grand Prix at Mosport on September 22 as guest of honour and honorary starter. Toronto restaurateur Sam Shopspewitz arranged his appearance after Moss recovery from a severe Easter Monday crash in England. Polio Clinic Postponed Across Northumberland Durham Region
The Northumberland Durham Health Unit delayed next month’s Sabin polio clinics after a national advisory group linked four paralytic cases to the Sabin vaccine. Dr. Charlotte Horner said no cases were in United Counties and urged continued Salk vaccination while noting the delay won’t nullify prior protection.
