At the annual meeting the Orono Hockey Club discussed sponsoring amateur athletics and planning a winter hockey venture. An open meeting is in the Municipal Building at 8 pm for residents interested in hockey at the Orono Arena. the new club may be Juvenile Junior or enter ORHA competition.

Pheasant Season Opens Saturday in Clarke Township
Clarke Township begins pheasant hunting from October 27 to November 3 with six birds per hunter, four cock birds.
