Four Local Residents Hospitalized After Head-On Collision
A Monday evening crash at the Tyrone road junction with the Northumberland Durham Counties road sent four Orono area residents to Bowmanville Hospital. Ken Neal and daughter Arlene, and Mr and Mrs Hartwell Lowery sustained cuts and bruises. Mr Neal and Arlene were returning from Oshawa, Lowerys were en route to Bowmanville. By Wednesday the group remained under observation with multiple injuries and windshield impacts noted.
