Orono Horticultural Society Enjoys Evening Outing
Members and friends of the Orono Horticultural Society took an evening excursion in eight cars leaving the town hall at 6 30 pm. They traveled north to Kirby then east to view county reforestation sites and hiked near Mount Nebo. The group stopped at Armetrong's orchard near Orono where M Simples prepared a large bonfire. A sing song led by M Staples concluded the pleasant gathering.
