Ontario motoring public grows more safety conscious as driving schools expand their role. Instructors stress calmness and adherence to traffic rules to prevent accidents and build quick reflexes for emergencies. Men and women enroll in similar numbers. women often pass tests at higher rate. Enrollment rose after July amendments to the Highway Traffic Act.
