Park St Sunday School Holds Annual Picnic
The Park St Sunday School held its annual picnic on Tuesday afternoon July 13. Children played games and races with prizes, tug of war sponsored by Mr. Staples, stunt performances by several classes, and a variegated program including a kitchen orchestra. Evening games pitted married women against single women and married men against single men, ending a day of fun and memories.

Mary Ann Ard widow of Hugh Ard died at home in Clarke on June 28 in her 85th year. Born February 18 1859 near Orono she lived within a mile of her childhood home. She leaves son Robert Ard daughter Margaret Rutherford sister Minnie Cochrane seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
