M P P Cecil Mercer of Durham County skidded on ice while driving from Newcastle to Orono on Wednesday. His car toppled into a ditch at Dean's Corner, leaving him badly shaken. Continuation school girls defeated the town girls 1 to 0 as Olive Brown scored in the final ten minutes after a rush play. Dorig Wannan held the town offense to improve defense by Jean Forrester Olive Brown and Enid Cobbledick, with strong goaltending from Lillian Fowler.
