Citizenship Night At Young People's Union
The Young People held their meeting Monday evening with a good turnout. The program included hymns prayers scripture readings and songs by Miss Kathleen Simpson with piano by Miss Dorothy Simpson. Talks on citizenship and scientists followed noting Leewenhoek Pasteur Koch Roux and others who advanced public health. The event closed with games for the remainder of the evening.

Over eighty attendees joined the Women's Institute euchre and five hundred party on Friday. Prizes went to Mrs. Harold Dean for Euchre and Mr. Wm. Cornish for Men. Draw on a woollen blanket won by Mrs. Harold Dean. Honorees included Mrs. Honeywell turning 75 as guests sang God Save the King.

Clarke Township Council Meets In Regular Session
