Monday evening's Park Street United Church Young People's programme drew a large crowd. Neil Wood led the programme with Hazel Winter Reed's story and Betty Rowe's scripture. giving a vocal duet by Mr and Mrs Smith with Miss Myrtle Smith, and a piano piece by Jean Logan. Miss Hileen Riddell presented a talk on worship materials and its aims. She described worship as rhythmic life with the law of alteration between heaven and earth guiding devotional meetings toward a clear outcome.

Officers and members of Orono L O L No. 409 hosted Cameron Lodge L O L conferring the Blue Degree on Chas Brown County Master of Durham West and his son George of Fenelon Falls and Robt Cornforth of Lindsay.
