Children’s Musical Festival at Orono Holds Key Competitions
The 10th annual Children’s Musical Festival in Orono Town Hall features thirteen novice choirs competing for entry to the County Festival, a six-entry Duet Competition, and performances by the O. B. A. chorus from Massey Hall. Admission 25c. A May 4 soloist elimination contest at 6 pm in Orono School, judged by Eldon Brethour, charges 10c. Proceeds support music in area schools.

Directors Increase Prize List Money By 200 Dollars
At the Durham Central Agricultural Society monthly board meeting the prize list was expanded with higher awards for field crops and related classes.
