Insurance agent George Mason of Bowmanville reported a collision on Main street when a MOOT Goode Creamery truck backed around a corner into his car in front of the Kaum4Rite Inn. Mason’s car sustained smashed headlights and a twisted radiator. the truck remained undamaged.

Reaboro Triumph in Lodge Shield Final Parade
Judges tally points and Reaboro defeats Orono 92 to 87 to win the shield. Captain Porter of Orono and Smith of Reaboro were honored on stage before Porter presented the shield to Smith. A victory march followed by a street parade led by the Pontypool Fife and Drum Band and dancing at the town hall.

International Plowing Match Dates Are Set
The 26th annual International Plowing Match and Machinery Demonstration will run October 11, 12, 18 and 14 in Simcoe County at Minesing Flats between Minesing and Edenvale, 12 miles northwest of Barrie.
