Fatal Fall From Engine at Newburgh
William Nobler aged 24, a laborer at the Erie round house in West Newburgh, died after a pump hoist broke free and struck him while being moved to a locomotive. He left a sister Cora Noiler and a separated wife living with her mother. The accident occurred about 2 30 pm and he died at St Hyna Hospital. The two other workers were William Kennedy and John Kline. He previously worked for Lackey Lace Manufacturing.
