The Thrall Hospital Training School for Nurses held graduation exercises in the Assembly Rooms with 200 guests. Dr Walworth addressed the audience on Christian medical mission work and virtues for nurses including courage confidence humor hope and humanity. Diplomas were presented to Lena Pilzoth Tunalag and Amy W Mire Starkweather with oath and pins while prayers and musical selections concluded the program.

Fist Fight in an Engine Cab On Exile Railway
Two Newburgh men, Engineer Samuel Hadley and Fireman George Clerg, fought in the cab during a passenger run between Walls Gate and New Windsor. Hadley says Clerg slept then woke to threaten him. Clerg alleges assault. Both suspended. one may be permanently removed as investigation continues.

Ulster County WCTU Holds Annual Convention and Institute
The Ulster County WCTU convened at the Bilenville Methodist Church with a two day program. It featured devotional services, prayers, papers on state headquarters, music by local groups, and speeches by Mrs. Parsells and H. Westlake Coons. Walker Dusenbury a mining engineer from Elmareaue Bogota. He was struck while attempting to board a fast moving West Shore freight train at 9 20 Thursday morning. He died at North Hudson Hospital shortly after. He had recently been in Mexico City as an expert for a mining company and his mind is said to have been affected, possibly causing the rash act.

Posse Pursues Horse Thieves Across Counties
Word reached the police that three pairs of horse thieves stole a bay pair of horses a rubber tired wagon and harness from Luther Bolee in West Shokan on Wednesday night or early Thursday. Sheriff Holce and Ulster County riders pursued the culprits to Centerville Sullivan County. A report Friday said the horses harness and wagon were found along a farm road near Woolbourne Sullivan County on the 20 Hashrouck road.
