Bull Family Anecdotes Highlight Early Orange County Heritage
A piece recounts a long Bull family gathering in Orange County centered on William and Sarah Bull of Hamptonburgh. It notes a 1780 marriage, 15 children, 62 grandchildren, and 71 living kin, with no deaths for 45 years, plus a sermon by Rev. John Johnston and a large, unified family reunion. It also traces 1820 emigration pressures and a "Road List" showing a westward trek from Orange County to St. Louis, illustrating how many descendants settled across Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri.
