Narrow Escape From Death for N. E. Schriver
N E Schriver son of Rev and Mrs Andrew Schriver of the town narrowly escaped serious injury when a passing train halted a moment, then struck near a station. He dived clear just in time and emerged unhurt except for a broken cap and a back injury. Also Ray Tans of Sisto HW suffered a mumps attack and has been home ill for days.

Albany December 16 Judge Edgar M Cullen ends active service on the Court of Appeals after today's business though his term runs to December 31 He plans to retire Tuesday following a long tenure as chief judge and associate judge.

Funeral of Mrs Gwyer Held at Goshen Home
Goshen dec 16 the funeral of the Mrs Gwyer was held at the late home by the Rev Mr Cady yesterday afternoon. This morning the body was taken to Brooklyn for interment in Greenwood cemetery in the family mausoleum.
