Dodge Purchases Hollyrood Place
John L. Dodge of Orangeburg Rockland county has bought the Hollyrood stock farm in Circleville from W B Royce formerly owned by James H Wallick. Dodge will reside part of year and use the 275 acre property for horse breeding. Main buildings include a 19 room house, 12 room farmhouse, 6 room gardener cottage, 4 room workers cottage, a large barn with 20 box stalls and 90 cattle stalls, plus carriage houses, granaries, and milk houses. He plans improvements and involvement with the Orange County Fair Association horse department.
