George E Edward Murphy died suddenly Thursday afternoon at his Denton summer home at age 44. He is survived by his wife Grace Denton Murphy, daughter of Mr and Mrs Theodore J Denton, of Denton, one brother and two sisters. Former member of Dorchester Massachusetts public schools, he left his post about six years ago due to a serious breakdown. Funeral arrangements are pending, with services to be held in Dorchester.
Percy Larkin of 11 Coleon Avenue and James Lyons of Florida were in a car that went off the Denton road at the Lower wad intersection. The vehicle struck a ditch and flipped over after nine days of riding. Both occupants were uninjured though the car sustained damage. Passersby from Beaton helped recover the vehicle. Rev Dr J N Hayes with 36 years in China spoke to a large audience of 28 churches delegates in Hudson Presbytery at First Presbyterian Church.
