OC Parks hosts a fourth public meeting on Peters Canyon Regional Park as officials explore three plans for a paved north south bike path. Orange veteran Dick Meadows remembered as WWII hero
Richard Meadows a 91 year old Orange resident and World War II Marine corporal died of natural causes. He fought at Tarawa Tinian Okinawa and Saipan and inspired two history books with his accounts. He married Winnie after the war and settled in Orange in 1958. He remained active in the community and led flag salutes at National Night.
