The Grand Lodge of Doma and Humanity Masonic Lodge of Emerson hosted a Saturday reception and banquet on December 6 for about 200 attendees. Worshipful Master Eugene King opened the lodge, with a 3rd Degree section conferred, followed by a banquet served by the Order of the Eastern Star and Rainbow Girls at Nishna Valley School. Distinguished grand lodge officers and guests from multiple towns attended, with Joe Hathaway honored. A Christmas tea for Mrs Hathaway preceded an evening travelogue of Europe and a late lunch at the Hathaways’ Strahan area home.
