Eliza Isaac widow of George B. Stephenson of Arthur died at her daughter’s home in Toronto on December 19. Born in Aberdeen in 1847 she came to Canada in 1855, lived in Montreal Guelph Alma and Peel Town, married in 1867, and spent years on farms before settling in Arthur and Toronto. Survived by daughter Abigail James, son J Alfred, Rev. George L Stephenson, five grandsons, five granddaughters and three great grandchildren. Funeral held privately at Arthur United Church with Rev. W. A. Monteith.
